Throwin' Threads

T-Shirt Quilts:

It's been extremely busy in my quilting office with so many quilts that I can't even tell you about! No really, I mean it. I like to call it "throwin' threads" since I'm usually covered in little pieces of thread when I come out of my office at the end of each day. They. Are. Everywhere. You should see the lint screen in our dryer!

Since June I have had one customer after the next who has hired me to make surprise quilts for their beloved peeps for Christmas gifts and most of them have asked me not to share any pictures with you so the surprise isn't ruined. Could it be you? Are YOU getting a surprise quilt for Christmas? I'll never tell.

Speaking of Christmas, I have a fun tradition that I started 3 years ago. Every year in mid-December I give away a FREE Christmas quilt to one blessed customer from that calendar year. Last year the winner wasn't local and it was fun to get text messages from her when she opened up her fun free Crafty Moose Quilt! This year I will have 92 names in the hat from which I will draw one lucky winner! You read that right ... When 2022 closes I will have completed 92 customer quilts. That doesn't even include all of the other quilts I have snuck in there for my pattern covers, baby quilts, and a little gift quilt here and there. This is why I never leave the house, people. Well, that and I'm always covered in thread.

The 2022 Christmas Quilt is done and ready for photography. Since I don't have good photos of it yet, enjoy perusing over last year's quilt.

2021 Crafty Moose Quilts Christmas Giveaway

2023 is looking just as busy and I cannot thank you enough for your continued trust in me with all of your precious memories in the form of t-shirt and clothing items. For those of you who have been waiting for quite some time, THANK YOU for your patience!

Quilt Pattern Releases:

So far in 2022 I have released 2 patterns in both PDF and paper booklet formats. I have immersed myself in the world of quilt pattern writing, technical editing, photography, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, EQ8 Software, Graphic Software, and even Apple Pages for Mac. There has been much to learn and I have loved every minute of stretching myself and growing to learn more about the industry as a whole. I have met an amazing group of ladies who are spread out across the U.S. AND I have had pattern testers who are literally all around the globe!

Patterns by Crafty Moose Quilts can be found in 4 stores and online in my shop. WOW! 2022 has been a big year!

Shops:

I have 2 more patterns written and they have already been sent off to my technical editor. I made the cover quilt for one of them and the other pattern, called, Ponder Pieces, is being used right now to make 3 memory quilts from the clothing of a customer's father who passed away. Ponder Pieces only uses EIGHT FAT QUARTERS!

Stay tuned for more pattern releases to come!
