The Sweet Creek Quilt was inspired by Sweet Creek, one of my family's favorite hiking trails that follows a river nestled in the forest that leads to a waterfall. We spend countless summer days there splashing and wading in the warm shallow water.  
Each block of the Sweet Creek Quilt features a star within a star and the pieces in the corners create a secondary design that reminds me of the dappled light shining through the trees and the sparkling water of the creek.
