Each quilt—Lap, Throw, or Bed—features 30 stylized trees, which can be made completely scrappy or in a curated palette like the five-fabric version shown on the cover. Whether the trees are mismatched, coordinated, or somewhere in between, the result is a beautiful woodland quilt.

Inside the pattern, I’ve included a special write-up about my family’s vintage letterpress drawer—a piece that belonged to my great-grandfather during his time working at a newspaper in the 1930s, which is also the inspiration behind the pattern name.
