I have been quilting since 2011 and it feels like a dream come true to be able to build and run this business. I live and work in McKinney, TX and even though I lived the first 10 years of my life in Iowa, I guess I should consider myself a Texas girl now that I’ve been here for 40 years!

 

Being frustrated with poorly written patterns (and non-existent t-shirt quilt patterns), I began the journey to master writing my own patterns through a series of online courses wherein I immersed myself in industry standards. With that gained knowledge I have complete confidence that within the pages of Crafty Moose Quilts patterns you will find clear diagrams, concisely written instructions, and even see a glimpse of my heart within the pattern notes. 

 

I tend to design patterns that are quick to make up into finished quilts and lean more toward beginner skill levels. I love to share tips and tricks I’ve learned throughout my own journey to help quilters become more skilled and confident as they sew. I do my best to help quilters utilize their scraps and get the most from every cut of yardage / precuts. It's my goal to help quilters grow in confidence, and to support local quilt shops however I can. All of us collectively make up the quilting industry and what a joy it is to see everyone supporting each other’s efforts.

 

Founded on customer service, I have been custom creating t-shirt quilts since 2011 that capture memories, emotions, experiences and unforgettable moments in time.
